Hans van der Kruijf (Amsterdam, 1957) has a long history in photography. He started to make pictures with a Kodak Instamatic at the streets of Amsterdam when he was 10 years old. His first real camera was a Nikkormat with a bunch of Nikon lenses. After walking the line from the heavy Nikon F2’s and F3’s to the digital Nikon-world, he recently returned back to good old analog photography with his secondhand Hasselblad ( see #TheAnalogProject ).
Streetphotography in Amsterdam is still his usual territory, but the landscapes of the Netherlands and France are also his favorite subjects. As a generalist, Hans also excels in portraits, sport and documentary photography.
